Very few people live through an entire century, and even fewer hold on to possessions and have detailed memories from throughout that century. Magaret Isabella (Wallace) Beach is one of those few people who lived an ordinary life most extraordinarily. A gifted storyteller and a country girl from central and southern Ontario, she looked at every cloud as if it had a silver lining and brought a sense of wonderment and humour to anyone around her.
