It was another proud "first" for Orillia. In an era when many people never travelled more than 20 miles from home in their lifetime, a group of Orillia lacrosse players embarked on an audacious round-the-world tour. No other sports team, in any sport, had ever tried this. But the planned series of "demonstration" games across Australia quickly devolved into a desperate win-at-all-costs battle. There was no appetite for a re-match.
