The Mulcahy House on Peter Street - Greeting Card by Marlene Bulas

This frame house was built in the 1880s with its veranda facing Tecumseth St. and was occupied by merchant W.I. Forbes. In 1911, Matthew Teefy Mulcahy and his wife bought the house where five of their children were born. In 1921 he sold it to James Harvey, who remodelled it, with further renovations later by the Garry family and in 1973, by the Speed family. Some of the original features of the home remain.
